Hold on. Aren't there too many cool restaurants on this street? Jumpin Jax, Paris, Kazu, BBQ, grilled cheese....there was a llama outside. Almost nothing is cooler than a llama.

And this place. Wow, I love noodles so much, especially soup noodles. I'm so biased.

It's been a while since I had beef noodles this good though. The broth is full of goodies, yet lovingly drinkable. And the beef, oh god, it just falls apart in my mouth. The generous amount of scallion and green leaf is nice too. Also, you seem to get a pho style plate of bean sprouts, basil, etc. no matter what noodle soup you order. They know how to strike me where I'm weak.

The combination rice noodle soup is also good. Once again, there's a respectable amount of scallion and cilantro, which I can never get enough of. However, I thought the broth wasn't quite as good as the beef noodle. The umami was unfocused in comparison and doesn't do enough to leverage its seafood. This was the only item that I might not give 5 stars to on its own.

The banh mi was delicious. A little while ago, I complained about the baguette at Le Petite Paris. Setting aside the question of what is an authentic French baguette, I prefer this Nudo bread 24/7 as it starts with a satisfyingly crispy bite, but is soft and puffy afterwards.

The beef rolls, like the beef noodle, had a strong flavor. The beef in this sorta overwhelms everything, but the seasoning is so tasty that it worked quite well. The inclusion of chili in the sauce also gave it a great kick. In the future, I should just remember to add something spicy to spring roll sauces.

One more complaint. I got a fruit jelly drink, which was delicious. With it, I got a normal straw and a spoon. I asked if they had larger straws that were open on the bottom, like for bubble tea. Instead of giving me a larger straw, the waiter gave me some convoluted explanation about it not being boba, so just use the spoon. That's what I did, but I guess you guys don't have larger straws?

    I'll be back.

Great authentic vietnamese cuisine with excellent customer service.

I really like the location, because it's close to home and there's plenty of parking in this plaza.
The ambiance is great, modern decor with beautiful wall arts. I love the 3D wooden horses art piece on the wall, it looks just like the ones I saw in Vietnam.

I had the rice platter, grilled pork served with white rice and other items, great flavors. We also tried the beef stew, rice noodles, which are pretty good as well. The 3 beans dessert is delicious,  great way to end our meal with beans & coconut milk (my favorite).

I have been meaning to try this place out.  Sunday afternoon around 3:45 was pretty quiet.  Husband got the beef short ribs and I had my eye on the shrimp pad Thai to go.  I am all for "shrimp anything" plates and dishes.

He liked his and said he would order it again.  Me, the shrimp was flavorful although I asked not to make mine too spicy but give flavor.  Well mine was just okay.  No wow factor for me.  Not bad at all as I have had worse elsewhere.  I will order something else next time.

So I returned and had the pho. Very good. Broth wasn't as flavorful as my favorite places, but it was good and I would order it again.

My husband wanted to take me to a new restaurant he said was Hungarian. When we arrived I could immediately tell it was Asian.

The menu is well designed with great photography and detailed descriptions. The staff is a delight and the food amazing!

We had the shrimp spring roll and the beef spring roll as appetizers. My husband ordered pho with brisket, oxtail and tendon. I had the wonton soup served in large white ceramic bowls.

The restaurant has wood plank ceramic flooring and minimalist decor which goes well with the art and lighting often absent in strip center restaurants.

Since we live close by in Mandarin we can't wait to try everything on the menu!
